As a newborn photography specialist, the Kendra Paige Photography studio is always fully stocked with the cutest, handmade outfits for your baby. One of my absolute favorites, are knitted, footed rompers. There is just something I find extra adorable about those little legs and feet, squished into a fuzzy, full length suit.
I choose the items that fill my prop collection scrupulously. My preference is to maintain a collection that is handmade, and as local as possible. Luckily our community is blessed with a number of truly talented makers and vendors.
I also love the versatility of the footed romper. It is a simple piece of clothing, that hugs the body, which allows us to see the pose and maintain the focus on the baby.
These knit pieces are also super soft and made in limitless colors. Each romper adds to the esthetic of the setup the baby is posed within.
Another added favorite to a knitted romper set, a bonnet. And extra bonus if the bonnet has bear ears. Come on! SO CUTE!
Looking for modesty, but still want to see your baby's size and shape? The answer is a romper.
Want baby-led poses with the coordinated layering and colors? Footed romper.
For every newborn session, I try my best to squeeze in a pose using a knitted, footie romper. I like to say it is a bit of a signature look for my style.
