The cutest little girl! When I say every newborn session is an honour, I truly mean it. And nothing makes me feel more honored, than when a family chooses Kendra Paige Photography early on in their pregnancy. Oaklynn's mom shared their big news with me fairly early on, so she was on my calendar for quite awhile. One bonus of booking early, is that I have more opportunity to plan custom setups that reflect your vision.
Another bonus of booking early, is that you have time to plan your outfits for your family. But no need to worry about baby! Kendra Paige Photography has a fully stocked wardrobe for newborn sessions.
Oaklynn's mom chose purples, pinks, with a vintage look, and a bit of boho elements worked in. I chose earthy mauves for the purples.
Baby Oaklynn really loved this wrapped pose, so I utilized the wrap to create a few different looks. I do have a posing and wrapping workflow that I generally follow, but your baby is my guide. And since Oaklynn was so happy and sleepy, I let her stay that way for a bit.
I absolutely love this floral backdrop! I held onto it with this particular session in mind. Wouldn't this image look gorgeous in a nursery?
I always like to include a few additional color choices, which we plan during your consultation. I'm so, so happy Mom mentioned blues because this setup suited her perfectly.
Little Oaklynn did really well for most of her session. She decided she had enough of the snoozing near the end, so I got to grab some awake shots too. She made the cutest faces!
