I first met this adorable family a few years ago, when they brought their first baby girl for her newborn session. Over the years since, I have had the joy of seeing these folks for quite a few sessions. So it's no surprise how thrilled I was to hear they were expecting another baby. Especially since I had just started taking studio maternity sessions.
Claire's Studio Maternity Session
This mama wanted her maternity session to be flirty and whimsical. She loves plum, so I had Amy Courneau Couture make this gorgeous chiffon gown. It was an absolute PERFECT fit.
We decided to do another look, and another Amy Courneau dress was chosen. I love this soft, blush color. Both gowns are versatile in sizing, and available in the #clientcloset.
Including family in a studio maternity session is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. So many sweet, genuine moments.

Baby is born!
To start off his gallery, we tried to compliment one of big sister's newborn images. I love how they are the same, but also different.
And here they are together.
Baby R spent the first part of his session sleeping like a baby.
I honestly wasn't certain I would survive this cuteness.
He snuggled into this pose like it was made just for him. After a bit of soothing of course. I've wanted to use this backdrop fabric for a long time, and finally pulled it out for this session. It's perfect!
Mom asked for this adorable moon prop, and I wrapped him the same wrap I used for on of his big sister's prop poses.
Then he woke up. Hi little one!
The parents posing is one of the parts most families look forward to. These are the images that usually get chosen the most. Who can blame them?
We finished off the baby's poses with this cute, green bucket setup. By this time, little man was ready to go home and have his dinner.
